Britain's Grooming Gang Scandal Is One of the Worst Crimes in Modern Western History. The State Let It Happen.

A new inquiry report documents the systematic rape and trafficking of at least 250,000 young British girls, and the seven decades of institutional cowardice that made it possible.

The Rape Gang Inquiry Report opens with language that should be impossible to read without fury. "It was established to examine one of the most horrendous scandals in the long history of our country: the systematic targeting of vulnerable girls, overwhelmingly White British, by predominantly Muslim Pakistani gangs across towns and cities up and down the nation. The evidence presented throughout the hearings confirmed what had long been known but repeatedly denied by many in the political class."

The report, led by MP Rupert Lowe and crowdfunded by over 23,000 individual donors who raised more than £790,000, estimates that at least 250,000 white British girls have been subjected to repeated rape, gang rape, trafficking, torture, pregnancy, forced Islamic conversion, and lifelong trauma. The true number, the report states, is probably higher.

The first recorded case of specifically Pakistani rape gangs dates back to 1955, when four Bradford-based Pakistanis were charged with raping a 15-year-old girl from Middlesbrough, in the years immediately following the British Nationality Act 1948, which opened mass migration from former colonial territories. The abuse escalated significantly as that migration continued unchecked over the following decades. Organised exploitation has since been documented in at least 149 local authority districts, nearly 40% of the UK. This was not a local scandal. It was a national catastrophe seven decades in the making.

This Is What Seven Decades of Unchecked Migration and Political Cowardice Produced

The report is explicit about the root cause. Rupert Lowe writes in the foreword: "A combination of the paralyzing fear of 'racism' accusations and the scramble for votes from imported foreign sub-cultures meant that pure evil was allowed to metastasise." He adds: "The root cause was immigration, beginning with the British Nationality Act 1948 and escalating under Tony Blair from 1997 onwards."

This is the conclusion of a 219-page inquiry built on survivor testimony, whistleblower evidence, court records, and official investigations. The report documents that perpetrators from Pakistani Muslim backgrounds operated under a cultural and theological framework that treated non-Muslim girls, especially white working-class girls, as property available for sexual use. That framework arrived with migration. It was protected by a political class terrified of being called racist. The girls paid for that terror with their bodies and their lives.

What They Did to These Children

Girls as young as 11 were initially befriended by young Muslim men who treated them like adults, providing them with alcohol, drugs, and cigarettes. After a few months, the girls would be collected from school gates, care homes, and streets in taxis and taken to houses, flats, restaurants, and hotels where they were gang raped, tortured, filmed for blackmail, and told they were "white trash" or "kuffar" who merited punishment. Many became pregnant while still children. Some miscarried under trauma, others endured coerced abortions, and some gave birth to children later removed by the state. Survivors described daily rapes, "red rooms" of extreme torture, trafficking between cities, and institutional disbelief that compounded their suffering.

One survivor was taken into mosques where imams preached that non-Muslims were "infidels" and that white women who dressed "inappropriately" were "free game." She believes police, social services, the NHS, and government were fully aware of what was happening but did not intervene because they "could not be bothered with the paperwork" and "did not want to be seen as racist."

"You Should Just Be Glad Your Child Is Being Taught a Different Culture"

This is where the report becomes almost impossible to read without rage.

When Fiona's mother called police to report her daughter missing and named her abusers, the call handler told her: "You can't describe them as Asian men because that's racist. You should just be glad your child is being taught a different culture."

That is a direct quote from a British police officer to the mother of a child being gang raped.

On one occasion, a police officer returned Fiona to the house where the abuse was occurring and told the men to "have fun with her." On another occasion, police instructed the abusers that if they could persuade Fiona to sign herself out of care, the police would stop bothering them. The gang then tried to convince her to do so, intending to traffic her to Kashmir. She was only prevented from leaving the country because she did not have a passport.

The only formal action taken was a warning notice. Nothing followed it.

This was not a failure of the system. This was the system working exactly as the political class had designed it to work, with the protection of community cohesion taking priority over the protection of children.

The Man Who Ran the Prosecution Service Is Now Prime Minister

Keir Starmer served as Director of Public Prosecutions from 2008 to 2013, precisely the years when these networks were operating at industrial scale across British towns and cities. Under his watch, at least 13,000 warning notices were sent to suspected grooming gang members rather than prosecutions being pursued.

Lawyers working under Starmer chose to portray one victim who had been raped hundreds of times as a "teenage pimp" for "tactical reasons" to secure a conviction against adult perpetrators. The Crown Prosecution Service also sought lesser charges against Rochdale gang member Adil Khan even after DNA analysis of a foetus confirmed he had impregnated a 13-year-old girl who had later had an abortion. That decision meant Khan served only three years.

A Warning the Entire West Should Be Paying Attention To

What happened in Britain did not happen overnight. It happened over seven decades, accelerating with each wave of unchecked mass migration and each generation of politicians who decided that calling out the problem was more dangerous than solving it. The victims were working-class white girls from vulnerable backgrounds, the most politically powerless people in the country. They were considered expendable.

Rupert Lowe said it plainly: "The mass rape of vulnerable working class white girls by gangs of primarily Pakistani Muslim men is pure unfettered evil."

Every Western country currently importing mass migration from incompatible cultural backgrounds, enforcing speech codes that criminalize pointing out who is committing crimes, and prioritizing community relations over the safety of its own children is watching a version of this story develop in real time. Britain did not get here by accident. It got here through deliberate policy choices made by people who knew what was happening and decided the political cost of stopping it was too high.

The first recorded case was 1955. Seventy-one years. Hundreds of thousands of children. Every politician, every police officer, every social worker, every call handler who chose their career over those children should be answering for it in a court of law.
